Dipa Patel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over eight years of experience supporting individuals on their mental health journey. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University in 2016 and has a certificate of Telehealth from American College of Education since 2023.
Dipa takes a compassionate, evidence-based approach to therapy, working collaboratively with clients to identify their concerns, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies for growth. She believes in empowering clients by building on their unique strengths, values, and cultural identities, all within a safe and supportive environment.
Her focus is on helping clients embrace their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in the present moment, while also equipping them with effective coping skills to manage challenges. She specializes in working with individuals of all ages who may be facing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Dipa has experience in various settings including inpatient and outpatient where she has provided clients support with executive functioning skills. Dipa takes an integrative approach to provide guidance and support with effective functioning skills while the individual learns self-regulation skills for success. Dipa values teamwork and actively involves clients’ support systems including parents, caregivers, and other providers to ensure lasting progress and improved daily functioning.
