Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Emily graduated from Oak Lawn High School in 2015. Before joining Cognitive Solutions LC, she gained over six years of experience in clerical and administrative work, along with a year in the restaurant industry, building a strong foundation in organization, multitasking, and client service.
At Cognitive Solutions LC, Emily works remotely as our Patient Access Specialist, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed so clients can successfully begin their care. She plays a vital behind-the-scenes role, verifying insurance benefits, generating and submitting claims, posting payments, and assisting with billing-related questions. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys writing, cuddling her cats Jax and Copper, and spending time with her golden doodle, Heidi.
