What inspired you to become an Executive Functioning Specialist?
With a background in psychology and education, I was drawn to a role that would allow me to directly support clients in developing their executive function (EF) skills. My goal has always been to help individuals set realistic goals, build meaningful habits, and make lasting, positive changes—empowering them to perform at a level that reflects their true potential.
What age groups or populations have you worked with most extensively?
I’ve worked most extensively with twice-exceptional (2E) individuals—those who are gifted and also experience learning differences. Helping these clients unlock their potential and thrive both academically and personally is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
What tools, strategies, or frameworks do you use most often in your practice?
Building trust and connection with each client is my starting point. From there, I focus on fostering intrinsic motivation and personal accountability. Every client is different—success comes from adapting strategies to fit each person’s strengths, learning style, and evolving needs.
What do you enjoy most about working directly with clients?
I love that every session is a dynamic problem-solving experience. It’s incredibly rewarding to think creatively alongside clients, helping them tackle challenges in real time and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
What’s a hobby or interest you have that might surprise people?
I’m an avid fan of live music—especially jazz—and a year-round adventure seeker who loves spending time outdoors.
If you could instantly master any skill (professional or not), what would it be?
Professional golf. It’s the most challenging, humbling, and rewarding sport I’ve ever played—and mastering it would be the ultimate personal accomplishment.
What’s your favorite way to stay organized in your own life?
I’m a passionate traveler, and planning trips is one of my favorite ways to stay organized. Whether I’m researching new places or building out detailed itineraries, it helps me stay structured and focused—skills I bring into my daily life as well.
