Amy is a licensed K-12 Reading Specialist at an elementary school in the Chicago suburbs. Before becoming a reading specialist, Amy worked as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher for six years. She obtained her B.A. in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 2017 and her M.A. in Reading Education from Concordia University Chicago in 2021. Amy has experience working with a wide variety of learners, including those with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, as well as those with ADHD and Anxiety. She strives to help students succeed in and out of the classroom by empowering them to utilize helpful tools while also embracing their unique skills and abilities.
