Daniel Polonsky, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. He received his Doctorate of Psychology from Adler University. He completed his predoctoral internship at Rutgers University – Camden and his postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at ARCC Neuropsychology. He has experience in hospital, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Dr. Polonsky specializes in providing comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for individuals with neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD and executive dysfunction, mood issues, and neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy, hydrocephalus, traumatic brain injury etc.). Dr. Polonsky’s approach is a strength-based and integrative care model. He works closely with families and providers to ensure his patients receive appropriate, compassionate, and coordinated care and a deeper understanding of their cognitive and emotional functioning.
Dr. Polonsky also serves as an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a committee chair for the Illinois Psychological Association. Dr. Polonsky is fluent in English and Russian.
He has been issued the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT), which is granted by the PSYPACT Commission to provide telehealth services to individuals located in participating states.
