Zoe Mulkey, LCSW, is a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Cognitive Solutions LC, where she works closely with teens and adolescents to provide long-term, collaborative support. She believes that every young person’s voice is powerful and deserves to be heard, and she strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered. Zoe recognizes that building trust with teens can take time, and she honors each client’s pace while tailoring therapy to their unique needs. When appropriate, she also includes families or guardians in sessions, understanding that strong support systems are an essential part of healing and growth.
Zoe has experience supporting teens navigating trauma, grief, and life transitions, including the loss of a parent or guardian, relationship challenges, and school-related stress. She is open to working with a wide range of presenting concerns and takes a client-centered approach, helping each teen and family find the strategies and tools that work best for them.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, and she often incorporates creative techniques such as painting, drawing, writing, and role play. Zoe allows the client’s voice to guide the work, creating therapy that is collaborative, flexible, and meaningful.
Zoe deeply values working with adolescents and families and is committed to helping clients feel supported, heard, and capable of navigating life’s challenges with confidence.
